Every dog owner has walked their beloved companion dog at some point, but during one dog dad's walk, something very unexpected happened. One man noticed wads of cash floating on the Spalding River in the United Kingdom in November 2013.

After he called the police, they came and took the money out of the spalding. The entire amount discovered turned out to be $100,000. Lincolnshire Police said that while some of the cash had water damage, most of the notes were undamaged. They then carried out a forensic investigation of the cash to try and figure out where it originated from (and who truly owns it).
